What Dentovi is

Dentovi is a documentation tool. It drafts clinical notes, patient letters and follow-up tasks from a recorded consultation or a dictated summary. Every draft is reviewed and approved by the treating clinician before it is used. Dentovi does not make clinical decisions, does not diagnose, and does not replace the clinician's judgement or the practice's official patient record.

Who can use it

Dentovi is for registered dental practitioners and the staff of dental practices in Australia. The practice that signs up is responsible for the people it gives access to, and for keeping sign-in details private.

Price and trial

• $70 per clinician per month, ex GST, billed monthly.
• A 7-day free trial. No card is needed to start. The trial begins when we send your login details.
• No lock-in contract. Cancel any time; the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
• If the price changes, we give at least 30 days' notice by email before it applies to you.

Your responsibilities

• Confirm patient consent before recording, and follow the law on recording in your state or territory.
• Review and approve every note, letter and task before relying on it or sending it.
• Keep your practice management system as the official record and copy approved notes across.
• Use Dentovi only for dental documentation at your practice, and not in a way that is unlawful or harms others.

Our responsibilities

• Keep the service available and working, and tell you about planned downtime where we can.
• Handle information as set out in the privacy policy: audio deleted within 24 hours, no training on patient data, transcripts and notes retained for the practice.
• Give you a way to export or delete your practice's data when you leave.
• Support you directly — questions go to the people who built the product.

What we are not responsible for

Drafts can contain mistakes. That is why a clinician approves every one. We are not responsible for clinical outcomes, for notes approved without review, or for how the practice uses the documents it approves. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Beyond that, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the previous 12 months.[LEGAL REVIEW — liability wording]

Ending the service

You can cancel at any time by email. We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if fees are not paid after reminders, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we give at least 60 days' notice and a way to export your data.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell practices by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Dentovi after that date means you accept the new terms.
